Korean Drama Goblin sets the standards for many dramas to come
Story
Shin is a Goblin, a man who is neither dead nor alive. And he has been this way for centuries, waiting to find his mortal bride, who will be able to draw the sword which is stacked inside him, and set him free. Then, after 900 years, he finally meets Eun Tak, a high school student who can see ghosts.
Korean Drama Goblin has an odd love story, a killer bromance, a sweet side couple, a tragic story, and a beautiful atmosphere.
From the autumn scenes of Canada, to the eerie settings between death and life, the drama used the cinematography brilliantly. The lighting, the costumes and the settings were also dazzling and perfect for the story as well.
The comedy that was inserted into the story was also, a smart move and enhanced the bromance, lightened the mood when it was needed, and helped with the progress of the story.
The second couple was, in addition, probably one of the most tragic love stories in dramaland, and the main thing that kept the drama interesting when the main couple started getting boring.
The latter was odd at first, got better midway through, but wasn’t nicely handled. Also, the length of the drama didn’t help with its progress either.

Overall
My overall rating for the Korean Drama Goblin is 6.5 out of 10. The drama is magical, but the story was stretched out too thinly.
