Story

Gu Won is a demon who makes deals with people who are in desperate need. However, one day he loses his powers to Do Hee, a young heiress who is always in danger due to her family. Thus, they make a deal, to have a contract marriage in order for him to protect her while she lets him use his stolen powers.

Korean Drama My Demon is a fantasy melodrama.

The story is pretty strong in the beginning, with beautiful cinematography and plenty of funny moments.

The banter between the two main leads was also enjoyable, and their chemistry was overflowing.

It was nice, moreover, that they didn’t use a love triangle to cheese things up.

Rather, the story was left clean and romance-focused, with the usual overused twists.

And truly, the ending was more or less predictable and cliche, even though the family drama was pretty engaging and the romantic moments plenty.
