Korean Drama Bo Ra! Deborah is promising but messy
Story
Bo Ra is a love coach and a successful author who has it all, a great career and the love life of her dreams. However, when things take a turn for the unexpected, Bo Ra will have to save her career and start over, with the help of her new publisher, Soo Hyuk, a man who doesn’t believe in what Bo Ra represents.
Korean Drama Bo Ra! Deborah is a romantic comedy with a dramatic tone.
The love story is slow burn, with few romantic moments between the two leads. Rather, the main focus of the story is the journey of Bo Ra and how she came to change without losing her views on love.
The friendship and family drama, moreover, were interesting and entertaining and gave some spice to the main story which often lost its way and got a bit boring at times.
Actually, those side stories had more and more screentime compared to the main one in the second half.
The finale, on the other hand, was a happy one and the drama wrapped up all the storylines nicely.
Characters
Bo Ra is a love coach who truly believes in love and happy endings. She is a romantic who often lets her own feelings get the best of her.
Yoo In Na was adorable as always.
