The couple from the Goblin finally gets a second change in Touch Your Heart, a drama that serves as fanservice to the fans.
Story
Yoon Seo is an actress who tries to land a role as a lawyer in a new drama. Due to her acting being really awful, the writer of the drama agrees only if Yoon Seo works in an actual law firm and gains experience. So, Yoon Seo is appointed as secretary to the cold lawyer Jung Rok. He is very strict and he looks like he doesn’t like Yoon Seo, who is very bubbly and popular between his colleagues. He, however, starts getting closer to her. Yoon Seo as well, falls for him. But Jung Rok is very awkward when it comes to love.
The story doesn’t really have much to offer. The small cases that Jung Rok takes up are interesting, but doesn’t last longer than an episode or two. Also, the side characters have some stories to share, but nothing out of the ordinary. And, there was some drama, towards the ending of the drama, that added some dark notes to the plot. However, the strength of this drama lies in the chemistry between the two leads. It presents a cute, sweet and quite fluffy love story that is addictive and pleasant to watch. And, it keeps the interest high throughout the drama, although, I have to admit, there were some boring moments, but not that many.
Characters
Yoon Seo is a bubbly actress, quite popular because of her beauty and the commercials she often takes up. However, her acting skills aren’t that good. She is loved by everyone, as she is friendly, cute and funny. Yoon Seo, however, has a dark past that she tries to overcome by being positive. Yoo In Na was, as always, stunning. She was enough cute and bubbly to create an excellent leading lady for this fluffy drama.
Jung Rok is a cold lawyer who actually cares about others and always chooses cases that seem like lost causes. He is actually a shy, reserved man who can’t really express himself well to others. He starts to open up when he meets Yoon Seo, who is the opposite of him. Lee Dong Wook has crazy chemistry with Yoo In Na and their romance picks up where it was left.
Cinematography
The drama’s cinematography was simple and basic but they did manage their pace excellently.
Overall
My overall rating is 8 out of 10. This is the typical romantic drama, but it was actually entertaining to watch.
