Korean drama Uncle is heartwarming and with lots of twists
Story
When Joon Hee and her son move into the luxurious apartment complex Royal State, her presence disturbs the rest of the residents, and especially the mother’s club. But, while she has to deal with her family problems and her neighbors, as well as her own demons, unexpected help will come, her brother Joon Hyuk, with whom they have been estranged.
Korean Drama Uncle is a heartwarming drama with a slice-of-life story that contains many twists and misfortunes.
And yet the story has a sweet, warm feeling to it, coming from the pure human relationships and the family bonds that are created or rediscovered.
However, and even though the first part is strong and full of intrigue and emotions, the second part was boring. The main twists were more or less concluded, those that remained were repeated and predictable and the drama lost its smooth pace and got cheesy at times.
Characters
Joon Hyuk is a musician that lost his fame when he got scummed by people he trusted. After that, he started being indifferent and cold.
Oh Jung Se was emotional and energetic.

Jeon Hye Jin gave a smooth performance.

Ji Hoo is Joon Hee’s son. He is a talented boy who has issues socializing and he is always trying to take care of his mother and be the adult.
Lee Kyung Hoon was especially enjoyable.
Hye Ryung is the queen B of the luxury apartment. She is a woman of power and she is trying to maintain it by any means possible.
Park Sun Young gave a strong performance.

Hwa Eum is Ji Hoo’s teacher. She used to be Joon Hyuk’s fan as well. She has a bright personality and a dynamic character.
Lee Shi Won was very sweet.

Kyung Il is a single dad at the luxury apartments. He takes a liking to Joon Hee and wants to help her out.

The drama had a slow pace in the final episodes, but the music scenes were well handled.

My overall rating for the Korean Drama Uncle is 5 out of 10. The drama has a heartwarming story, but it had many boring episodes.
