Korean Drama The Good Bad Mother is a bittersweet family drama
Story
After losing her husband, Young Soon has struggled to raise her son all by herself, often getting too harsh on him. Years later, he is a successful prosecutor who, unfortunately, hates her and wants nothing to do with her. But, after a car accident, he loses his memory and now he returns home with the mind of a seven-year-old, giving Young Soon another chance with her son.
Korean Drama The Good Bad Mother is a family drama about a mother and her son.
The drama focuses on their relationship, slowly unfolding who they really are despite what they appear to be.
The drama does a good job of adding comedy relief here and there, mostly due to the interactions with the village people who had formed a unique family.
The mystery, moreover, was suspenseful at first, but got predictable in the end. Still, the length of the drama prevented it from getting boring, even when the romance started getting more and more screentime.
Characters
Young Soon is a single mother who has struggled to raise her son alone, while managing her pig farm. She had to be harsh on him, as she thought that that way she was protecting him and giving him a bright future.
Ra Mi Ran gave an emotional performance.

Kang Ho is a prosecutor who has cut his ties with his mother and he is trying to get ahead with his career by serving those in power. He is closed up and cold, but, after his accident, her returns back into his sweet and caring self.
Lee Do Hyun proves once again why he is one of the best kdrama actors.

The drama had a nice pace and handled its twists as well as its flashbacks smoothly.
