Story

When In Sook discovers that she is terminally ill, she sets her grandmother up to live without her and goes to a hospice, where she meets Mi Do and Seo Young, two other patients with completely different personalities. One day, they have the crazy idea to kill a man in In Sook’s neighborhood who has been terrorizing and mistreating his daughter. They think that they can get away with it, as they are about to die anyway. But, they run into Woo Cheon, a contract killer, just when they are about to commit their crime.

Korean Drama The One and Only is a sad melodrama about people and human relationships. The friendships and romantic bonds that are created are formed under the most unlikely situations, to support and give strength to the heroes when they most need it.

The addition of the crime mystery, furthermore, gave another dimension to the drama and enhanced the bonds between the characters, while keeping the story suspenseful and dramatic.

However, the finale of the drama was too convenient and too happy for the overall mood of the drama.

At least, the love story was spot on, tragic, dramatic, and had plenty of sweet and romantic moments.
