Mi Ho is being abducted by Do Jun, after discovering that he was the one who killed her sister ultimately. Fortunately, Na Young has placed a tracking device in her husband’s car, the car that Do Jun now uses to take Mi Ho to his clinic where he attempts to drag her.

But, due to the tracking device, Do Young and Jung Ah, who were, in the meantime, left behind to look after the girls, follow Do Jun, who was arguing with Mi Ho before attempting to drag her and make it look like an overdose.

However, just before he manages to pull off his plan, the security guard interrupts, giving Mi Ho the chance to escape. Do Jun hunts her down, and when Do Young, Jung Ah, and Jin Seop arrive, starting to search the clinic for their friend, he takes her to the terrace, throws off the USB, and tries to jump along with Mi Ho.

At the time, the three friends reach them and save Mi Ho, while Do Jun hangs by the ledge, bagging Mi Ho to save him as well. Mi Ho is tempted to let him slip, but she decides not to and she brings him up, while the police arrive and handcuff him.

Then Mi Ho reveals that she has transferred the content of the USB, which was destroyed by the fall, into her phone, and that, along with Ji Ye’s testimony, is enough to send Do Jun to prison.

After that, Mi Ho goes back to work, where she discovers that she was promoted and she is now asked to work at a branch overseas. And as she prepares for her new chapter in life, she looks back at things, discovering in the Pandora’s Box that Yu Jin has written more on Mi Ho’s file, confessing that Mi Ho was her only family and that she didn’t hate her even though she had abandoned her.

Meanwhile, Tae Ho tries to reunite with Na Young, who doesn’t back off and tells him to wire the child support when he attempts to buy her off with a ring.

Su Bin is upset because, other than the divorce papers that he found, which served as a reminder of his betrayal, he also discovers a card from a divorce lawyer at Jung Ah’s desk. He begs her to forgive him and Jung Ah confesses that it’s not her card, but a friend’s.

At a school event where the parents are asked to attend, Mi Ho sees her nieces thanking her and wishing her well. That serves as the last drop and Mi Ho goes to find the two sisters before their move to the USA with their grandfather, asking the latter to let her take care of them.

In the end, Mi Ho doesn’t accept her new position and stays back to raise her nieces. Na Young also accepts a job offer by Jung Ah and now she supports herself and her family without depending on anyone. As for Jung Ah, she gives another chance to her marriage.

Overall, the drama had many suspenseful moments, with a classic melodramatic theme and happy endings for most of the characters.
