Story

Na Moo and Nak Gil were in love when they were kids, but were forced to be apart after Na Moo’s father murdered Nak Gil’s parents. Now, living under different names, they meet again. However, and even though they still have feeling for each other, the demons of their past can’t let them be together.

Korean Drama Come and Hug Me is an emotional and deep drama. It portrays the nature of humans, the power of love and how one’s choices can affect everyone around them.

The drama is well-paced, with a slow flow that enhances the strong emotions and the melodrama.

The story focuses mainly on the romance, or rather, the tragic love story, and how it is both a healing force and the main source of hurt for the couple.

The use of the complexity of the family relationships, along with the characters trying to fight their demons and their pasts was another killer factor of the drama.
