Korean Drama Love All Play is slow and boring

Story

Tae Yang was a rising star in badminton when she was caught up in a scandal and was forced to leave. Now, three years later, she is back, trying to join the Olympic team. However, in order to do so, she has to prove herself to everyone.

Korean Drama Love All Play had potential, with the badminton theme and the dynamics and politics of the team and the teammates.

However, the drama didn’t allow for the sports feeling to shine. Thus, it didn’t stray far away from following a predictable romance with a few well-played twists, and the fable of the main lead being a martyr due to what had happened in her past. And all that became boring.

Also, the story got repetitive, with the couple breaking up and making up in every episode.

And even though the side characters were interesting, they have been pushed aside and their stories weren’t fully explored.
