Story

Sun Joo, the CEO of a tech company, becomes victim of a murder attack and goes missing. However, somehow his spirit transfers into his smartphone, which is found by In Sung, a young man who dreams of becoming an actor, but has no luck at any job he takes up. After that, In Sung and Sun Joo will strike a deal, for the first to become the new CEO of Sun Joo’s company in order to find him, in exchange for a reward.

Korean Drama Unlock My Boss is a thriller with a sci-fi theme.

The drama starts out smoothly, with the mystery being unfolded and the main characters being introduced.

And even though the mystery is interesting and the chemistry between the characters was entertaining, the power battle was a letdown.

Probably the most interesting part, other than the makeshift family that the characters created, was the redemption of the loan shark, who had one of the best storylines of the drama.

However, the romance didn’t follow close to that. It was unnecessary, as it didn’t really add anything to the story and didn’t feat the mood of the drama.

The drama had a messy pace, but the technology theme was handled nicely.

Overall

My overall rating for the Korean Drama Unlock My Boss is 6 out of 10. It had potential, but it got tiring to follow.
