Korean Drama Love Is For Suckers is boring and predictable
Story
Yu Reum and Jae Hoon had been best friends for ages, living close to each other and supporting each other, even though there are some specs of romance between them that they both ignore. However, after Yu Reum is assigned to produce a dating variety program and she is asked to find eligible bachelors to participate, she asks Jae Hoon for help, and things start getting complicated.
Korean Drama Love Is For Suckers is a romantic comedy with the friends-to-lovers trope.
The drama has an interesting theme, using the variety program and the stories of the participants in order to spice up the main story, which was blunt overall.
The romantic story, in particular, was boring, as the main couple had few moments between them, relying heavily on their background story and on the love triangle, which was boring, especially since the second lead and the male lead didn’t have enough chemistry.
Other than that, the drama was predictable and offered a few surprises.
However, the second couple was enjoyable and the redemption of the side character was a nice development.
Characters
Yu Reum is a tv producer who has no luck either in love or at work. She is a sweet young woman who is friendly and considerate.
Lee Da Hee had a boring character, but she gave a nice performance.

My overall rating for the Korean Drama Love Is For Suckers is 4 out of 10. The best thing about this drama was the side couple.
