Korean Drama Oh! Youngsim follows the old drama standards
Story
Young Sim is a variety program PD who has not yet had any success. For her latest show, a dating program, she casts the CEO of a start-up, Mark Wang. However, Mark is actually Kyung Tae, a boy who used to have a crush on her when they were kids.
Korean Drama Oh! Youngsim is a romantic comedy taking place on the premises of a TV room.
The drama uses old and overused tropes to explore Young Sim’s and Kyung Tae’s relationship, with their love story being more or less predictable and cheesy.
Meanwhile, the love triangle was okay for a while and offered some comical relief, but was not smoothly explored.
As for the variety shows, they did add some interesting subplots, but weren’t exactly seen through.
Characters
Young Sim is a woman who is single and facing a career crisis. With the pressure from her family, she tries to solve them both, but seems to be failing.
Song Ha Yoon acting brings to mind the dramas of the last decade.

Kyung Tae is a rich CEO who has worked hard to get where he is now. He is charming and cunning when it comes to love.
Lee Dong Hae needs to work more on his acting.
Cinematography
The drama used too many cliches, but the pace was fast and the animation that was inserted into the plot was nicely handled.
Overall
My overall rating for the Korean Drama Oh! Youngsim is 3 out of 10. The drama is silly and uses old tropes.
