Korean Drama Strong Girl Namsoon is a weak attempt at a sequel
Story
Nam Soon, a girl with supernatural strength, who went missing as a child in Mongolia, is now in Seoul, trying to find her mother. And when she finally meets her, she also discovers that every woman in her family has the same gift. So, Nam Soon will follow her mother’s example and help her new friend and police officer, Hee Shik, solve a drug case at Gangnam.
Korean Drama Strong Girl Namsoon is the sequel to the still popular drama KDrama Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, but it fails to live up to the hype.
The drama quickly becomes too comical, as the main character is too childish, as her behavior was not her acting cute, but, rather, her being immature, something that got annoying after a while.
Also, the romance was boring and was cannibalized by the main crime case, which kept things interesting when the story fell flat, which was more often than not.
Still, even that wasn’t enough, as it was predictable and the action scenes were too few.
The best part of the drama was the cameo of the characters of the original series, which was a nice touch.
Characters
Nam Soon is a bright and energetic young woman who is friendly and kindhearted, using her powers to help others.
Lee You Mi did her best, but her character was too annoying.

Geum Joo is Nam Soon’s mother. She is a rich woman who is self-made. After she lost her daughter, she focused on doing good deeds.
Kim Jung Eun was dominating each scene.
Joong Ga is Geum Joo’s mother and Nam Soon’s Grandmother. She is the grand lady of her family, with strong opinions and a strong personality.
Kim Hae Sook gave an enjoyable performance.

The drama didn’t handle its pace well.

My overall rating for the Korean Drama Strong Girl Namsoon is 3 out of 10. The drama was too idiotic.
