Korean Drama Strong Woman Do Bong Soon has a really strong start, but it gets worse and worse towards the ending
Story
Bong Soon is a small but extremely strong woman. She is unemployed and she finally lands a job as the bodyguard of eccentric and self-absorbed CEO Min Hyuk. But they will soon get involved in a serial killer case.
Korean Drama Strong Woman Do Bong Soon has a killer start! The two main characters have the best dynamics and their chemistry is overflowing.
The story is, in addition, delightful, full of the just-right kind of comedy and with a heart-racing thriller that keeps things suspenseful when the love triangle is in full swing. And somehow, all those elements manage to blend in splendidly.
Unfortunately, the story goes downhill halfway through. It starts getting druggy, with unnecessary and boring scenes that didn’t help with the investigation of the criminal case.
The comedy started getting tiring as well and the romance got more and more cheesy, losing its initial charm and enjoyment.
Characters
Bong Soon is a small woman coming from a line of strong women. She is kind and friendly, but she also isn’t one to mess with.
Park Bo Young is truly the crowd’s favorite and this character fitted her like a glove!

Min Hyuk is a childish CEO who is arrogant and sometimes, odd. He employees Bong Soon in order to protect him from an unknown threat. However, he starts falling for her.
Park Hyung Sik was really sweet and funny.

Gook Doo is Bong Soon’s crush. They have been friends since high school and now he is a police officer trying to help Bong Soon out.
Kim Ji Soo was, as always, the best second lead.

Cinematography
The drama uses the superpower scenes masterfully and the action scenes were enjoyable and plenty. However, things slowed down halfway through.
Overall
My overall rating for the Korean Drama Strong Woman Do Bong Soon is 6 out of 10. The start was great, but the second half was boring.
