Story

Mermaid Shim Chung has been looking for her lost love for centuries until she comes to the modern times, when his reincarnation happens to be Joon Jae, a con artist. Joon Jae will take in human now Shim Chung and try helping her get used to her new environment.

Korean Drama The Legend of the Blue Sea is a fairy tale about a mermaid and her magical, mystical world.

The drama has a love story with few surprises and less than few enjoyable scenes.

Actually, the main entertainment of the story comes from Shim Chung herself, as she tries to navigate her new life, and her mysterious mermaid world.

The rest of the drama is predictable and gets boring towards the ending.

The bromance was cute though, unlike the love triangle.
