Korean Drama Yumi’s Cells Season 2 takes up from where the last season left things
Story
Yumi has broken up with Wung and she has decided to hide her love cell away. But her colleague Babi is starting to stir her heart.
Korean Drama Yumi’s Cells Season 2 has all the charms of the first season, but is not as strong of a story.
The cells are back, being all funny, delightful, and adorable. They are the ones that save the story from being boring and keep things moving forward.
On the other hand, the love story was not as intense as the one in the first season. Yes, there were some sweet and romantic moments between the couple, but the pace was off and the love story wasn’t that original.
And yet, Yumi’s story got more realistic, with her struggles becoming a writer and her new journey in her new carreer.
Characters
Yumi realizes that she wants to chase her dreams and become a writer.
Kim Go Eun gave a nice performance.

Babi is Yumi’s colleague. He is sweet and gentle and he is in love with Yumi.
Park Jin Young did a great job with his character.

Cinematography
The drama did a good job with the animation and mixing it with the fiction part.
Overall
My overall rating for the Korean Drama Yumi’s Cells Season 2 is 6.5 out of 10. It wasn’t as good as the first season, but it was fun.
