Story

La El lost her parents and her whole life in the hands of So Ra’s father, a rich businessman. And she is back now, under another identity, to take revenge. And her first target is So Ra’s husband.

Eve is a revenge drama with enough action to keep things interesting.

The twists are well handled, but the progress of the story is bumpy and not as smooth as it should.

On the other hand, the characters were intense and they had chemistry and enough craziness to maintain the edginess of the first episodes.

La El has suffered the loss of her family and she comes back ready to do anything to get her revenge. So, she uses her looks, charming character, and cunning thinking to get what she wants.

Seo Yea Ji gave an intense performance.

So Ra is Yoon Gyeom’s wife. She is the daughter of a ruthless man and she herself is without compassion, violent, and ready to destroy whoever stands in her way.

Yoo Sun was a scene stealer.

Eun Pyung is a lawyer who has been rising in power. He is the one who knew La El when she was robbed of her family and he had helped her back then to escape.

Lee Sang Yeob did a good job with his character.

The cinematography and the costumes were pretty atmospheric. The dancing scenes were also well managed.

Overall

My overall rating for the Korean Drama Eve is 6 out of 10. The drama gets tiring after a while, but it has its moments.
