Story

When a post by the mysterious M is posted on the school’s online community, the students of Seoyeon University will start searching for the anonymous stranger.

Korean Drama Dear. M is a college drama that has all the school drama tropes, romance, comedy, friendship, and some mystery along with the struggles of its young characters.

The drama does start with a smooth prompt, having the characters introduced to the audience and establishing the mystery of the online posts.

And even though the friendship is spot on and naturally blossoming, the romance was the weakest point of the series. It’s cheesy, boring, and with no surprises, as well as with a messy and slow pace.

The overall story was tiring to watch, moreover. Especially after the first episodes, the only real interesting part of the drama was the main antagonist of Ji Min plotting against her. The rest felt like fillers.
