Before I start this post, I would like to announce that this is the last Monday Post. I’ll keep from now on the posts on Wednesday and Saturday rotation. Also, this is the last Summer Recommendation for this year. I’m hoping that starting September I’ll be able to provide reviews of new dramas as well as those recently aired. Kiss Scene in Yeonnamdong is a cute drama that keeps you guessing till the end
Story
Yoon Sol is a college student who hasn’t had her first kiss yet. She has been waiting for the right time, but also her best friend, Hae Young, has been preventing her from kissing any guy.
However, after a night out when Yoon Sol had too many drinks, she finally had her kiss. Unfortunately, she can only remember the kiss, and not the kisser. Hence, she will start a treasure hunt to find out who kissed her.
Kiss Scene in Yeonnamdong was a fun ride.
The mystery of who kissed the leading lady was almost predictable, but the drama presented it in an interesting way, introducing many characters and crafting slowly the events of the forgotten night.
The whole drama doesn’t present a love story, rather it introduces it. But, the chemistry was there and the characters are interesting and cute. The whole mood of the drama was, in addition, sweet and entertaining.
Characters
Yoon Sol is a feisty young woman who wants to have her first kiss. She has been practicing since she was young, however, she never got the opportunity to experience it yet. However, after a night of drinking, she has finally kissed someone. The problem is, she can’t remember who was her perfect kisser.
Hong Seung Hee was adorable and she did a great job with her performance.

Hae Young is Yoon Sol’s childhood friend. They have always been together, Hae Young protecting her and talking her out of dating guys. He, himself, is quite popular and has most of the time a girlfriend waiting for him.
Kim Kwan Soo was a sweet main lead and he had chemistry with his partner.
Cinematography
The drama presented the mystery of the kiss in a way that kept the audience guessing till the end.
Overall
My overall rating for the Korean drama Kiss Scene in Yeonnamdong is 8 out of 10. The drama is quite entertaining and the characters were interesting.
