Theory of Love is a funny drama with many elements taken from beloved movies
Story
Third and his friends are the cool guys of their faculty. Especially Thrid’s best friend, Khai, is a well rounded playboy with many girlfriends that often cause problems to Third.
But it’s not just Khai’s girlfriends that make Third uneasy. It’s also the fact that he is in love with him. However, Khai doesn’t seem to notice. On the contrary, he takes his friendship for granted.
Theory of love had a really interesting idea of a story. Not only did they used a popular acting couple as the main leads, but the main story was also entertaining and funny.
The friendship of the four boys was another factor that aided the drama to be enjoyable as well. And they didn’t forget the side characters’ stories, which was a nice touch to add.
Finally, the main concept with the movies made the romance even cuter, and added some comedy elements to it.
Characters
Third is dreaming of becoming a director. He and his friends are studying filmography and they always are filming something. Third is also reviewing movies on his Youtube channel. His love life is actually like a drama, as he is in love with his best friend who has a strict no dating friends policy.
Gun Atthaphan Phunsawat did a really good job, especially with the dramatic scenes.
Khai is a playboy who never had a real relationship. He is self-centered, arrogant and confident and he uses his friend Third, blind of the latter’s feelings for him.
Off Jumpol Adulkittiporn gave a smooth performance.

Two is the photographer of the group. He finds out about Third’s situation and he encourages him to confess his feelings. He also tries to support him.
White Nawat Phumphothingam was the comedy relief of the drama and his own love story was pretty interesting.

Bone is working as a barista at a local cafe. He meets the girl of his dreams there, but she turns out to be his professor in school.
Mike Chinnarat Siriphongchawalit was a nice addition to the cast and he did a good job with his character.

Cinematography
The drama used the theme of cinema and films in an interesting way and it is one of the key elements of the drama.
Overall
My overall rating for the Thai drama Theory of Love is 7.5 out of 10. The drama is very enjoyable and the concept was original and entertaining.
