2gether had a smooth start, but a horrible finish.

Story

Tine is a young college student who wants to get the boy who is following him around give up on him, so he can enjoy his college life and start dating. So, he asks for the most popular guy at his university, Sarawat, to pretend to be interested in him. The boy doesn’t really want to do it, but Tine is determined and he even joins the same music club as him. However, things get complicated when Sarawat starts falling for him.

2gether had a cute story, with an interesting idea behind the main plot. However, it overall felt like something was missing.

Could have been intensity or the way they handled the story, but the final result was mild and half baked. The drama also went downhill towards the end, as the final episodes were boring and had nothing new to add.

Even that drama with the old friend was boring and out of the blue. The side couples were odd and didn’t provide enough spice to save those episodes. Finally, the love triangle was creepy and, actually, annoying at some point.

Characters

Tine is a bright young man who enjoys spending time with his friends and flirting with girls. However, his life gets disturbed when a boy starts chasing him around, insisting to be his boyfriend. Tine will go then to extremes in order to get him off his back. Win Metawin Opas-iamkajorn did a nice job with his character and he was overall really cute.

Sarawat is one of the popular students, being followed by his fans everywhere he goes. He is a closed character, who loves music and playing guitar. Bright Vachirawit Chivaaree was pretty great as the moody Sarawat and he had some funny moments as well.

The drama had a well paced story at first, but they didn’t handle the last episodes well.

Overall

My overall rating for the Thai Drama 2gether is 5 out of 10. The first part was enjoyable, but the final episodes were boring.
