Japanese Drama Alice in Borderland Season 2 was faithful to its manga
Story
Arisu and Usagi are trying to figure out what is happening, while they collect cards in order to get back to their world.
Japanese Drama Alice in Borderland Season 2 is the sequel to the popular first season.
The series keep close to the original manga and the story doesn’t stray far from the source.
However, the episodes vary from boring, and sloppy ones to fast-paced ones when the games flash by in minutes.
The ending, on the other hand, was handled masterfully and it was fitting to the rest of the story.
Characters
Arisu is still trying to survive, while he is looking to find out more about the game and the borderland. However, he tends to lose hope as the games go by.
Kento Yamazaki gave an emotional performance.

Yuzuha starts bonding with Arisu, but she still keeps to herself and doesn’t open up to him completely.
Tsuchiya Tao did a good job with her character.

Cinematography
The drama had a gaming feel to it and kept things intense, though the pace was messy in some episodes.
Overall
My overall rating for the Japanese Drama Alice in Borderland Season 2 is 5 out of 10. The second season wasn’t as good as the first one, but it was enjoyable.
