Korean Drama Missing 9 had a twisty story but a questionable ending
Story
Bong Hee is a young stylist who was assigned to work with a famous idol group, before they had a plane crush and went missing. And Bong Hee was the only one found alive. Now, and even though she is suffering from amnesia and can’t remember what happened, she is forced to account for what took place on the island and where are the rest of the passengers.
Missing Nine has a suspenseful story with nine survivors trying to stay alive on an island. The story gets even more thrilling when the plot adds the factor of insanity and a ruthless killer among them.
And even though the ending was too idealistic and a big letdown compared to the rest of the drama and its darker mood, the overall story is enjoyable and handled nicely.
The dynamics between the nine survivors and the creation of their small society were another plus for the drama.
Characters
Bong Hee is a young woman working as a stylist. But, after she gets lost on the island, she takes up the task of becoming the caretaker of the rest.
Baek Jin Hee was really enjoyable and sweet.

Jun Oh is a famous singer. He is full of himself and a little foolish, but he has a sweet personality.
Jung Kyung Ho gave a smooth performance.

Tae Ho is Jun Oh’s bandmate. He has always lived and Jun Oh’s shadow and he is ready to do anything to get what he wants.
Choi Tae Joon had one of the most hateful characters at the time.

Yeol is the youngest member of the band. He has a bright personality and sees only the best in anyone.
Park Chan Yeol gave a great performance.

Cinematography
The drama used the island scenes and the suspenseful atmosphere perfectly. The pace was just right as well.
Overall
My overall rating for the Korean Drama Missing 9 is 7 out of 10. The drama was hectic, but the ending was a letdown.
