The second season of the Korean Drama The World of My 17 changes cast but leaves things unresolved
Story
Na Ri is selected as the class representative, and her new responsibilities find her at odds with the other class’s peer, Seung Ha, while she makes a new friend of the new kid at her class, Chan Yang.
Korean Drama Korean Drama The World of My 17 Season 2 recast the main leads, keeping only the same actress for the character of Mi Rae, but they kept the same energy.
The story is bittersweet, in the premisses of school drama and teenage conflict. And, just like in the first season, it doesn’t focus too much on the romance.
Rather, it gives enough problems to the lead to solve, including bullying and school politics.
The friendship part was, however, lessen in this one, as the main priority was shifted towards the two new characters.
As for the romance, it was cute and, thus, the love triangle was well handled, however, it was incomplete, as was the rest of the story.
Characters
Na Ri is a bubbly, friendly teenager who is sweet and optimistic. Her family owns a bakery and she often spends her time there, if she isn’t with her girlfriends.
Choi Ye Na did a really good job for her first time acting and she was adorable.
Mi Rae is Na Ri’s friend. She is a great dancer and she is the one who is always defending her friends at all costs.
Han Chae Kyung was as enjoyable just like the first season.
Seon Ji is Na Ri’s other friend. She is naturally cute and charming, but she is down to earth. She is dreaming of one day opening her own bakery.
Jihan is another new addition and newbie with a good first appearance.
Seung Ha is the class leader, with whom Na Ri has to deal when their classes start fighting. He can act childish, but also caring towards his friends.
Lee Won Jung was an interesting male lead who needed more time for his character to be properly explained.

Chan Yang is the new kid in his class. He becomes friends with Na Ri’s group and he is invited to hang out with them at their special place. He seems to be a quiet character, but his family situation is a nightmare.
Yoo Sun Ho had a character that still seems to be a riddle, but he was quite interesting.

Cinematography
The drama had a fast pace and plenty of cute scenes.
