Story

Chitose is a teacher who, having been the victim of a bully when she was a student, feels strongly about these matters, something that causes her to lose her job. And in search of a new position, she ends up being the manager of an up and coming young actor, Sena. However, he is a constant tease, making Chitose go through various troubles when she also has to deal with being a rookie at her job. And their relationship gets even more complicated when she discovers that he was her bully.

Japanese Drama Tsumari Suki tte iitai n Dakedo, follows a predictable story, with plenty of cute and romantic scenes and a couple with loads of chemistry.

The drama is short and light, with few twists, but some dramatic moments when it came to the love story. It also had it all, a provocative second female lead who caused a lot of jealousy, a love triangle, cohabitation, the leads knowing each other since childhood, and lots more.

But what sets this drama apart from the tons of other rom coms out there was the setting. The story offered a lot of scenes taking place in the filming industry, and it was nice to see familiar terms, as well as behind the scenes of how the movies and dramas are filmed.

As for the love story, it was sweet, but sometimes it felt forced. Nevertheless, they had a nice progress, even though the ending needed a little more time to be perfect. The love triangle, on the other hand, was boring.

Characters

Chitose is a sweet girl who cares about those around her and wants to help as best as she can. She sees only the best in the others and tries hard to do her best in her new job.

Ohara Sakurako did an excellent job with her character.

Sena is an up-and-coming actor who is trying to prove that he is a good actor and not just a Rider star. He is ambitious and confident, while he enjoys teasing Chitose to get what he wants.

Sakurai Kaito was really good and proves that he has a bright future ahead of him.
