Japanese Drama Douse Mou Nigerarenai had a cute female lead but the romance was predictable
Story
Naho is taking up part-time jobs while waiting for a permanent position. That is why she gets an interview at the Solo Design Office. However, her new boss is a playboy who enjoys flirting and playing pranks on her. And even though he is frustrating, Naho can see that there is a reason why he pushes everyone away.
Japanese Drama Douse Mou Nigerarenai is a typical romance that has its cute moments, but it is predictable and, even, irritating.
First of all, the office atmosphere was on point. Sole Design Office is a trendy and warm environment and Naho’s coworkers, though they have the sole role of being there to aid with the progress of the plot and mostly act as prompts, were pretty great and interesting.
The romance was, as mentioned earlier, predictable and had the well-known progress. Still, the main leads had chemistry and they looked good together. Unfortunately, the way Naho’s boss acted towards her was exceeding the limits of playful and he even got a bit too violent towards her.
As for the drama of his background story, it was suspenseful at first but was not handled well. It was also too easily resolved.
In addition, the male lead’s trauma focus led to the leading lady being only there to support him and just be in love with him. Which is to say, we didn’t get a chance to know Naho other than her dream to be an office lady.
Characters
Naho is dreaming of becoming an office lady and leading a normal life. And even though she finds some difficulties achieving her dream, she is positive and doesn’t give up.
Yokota Mayuu was really cute and she did great at her dramatic and emotional scenes.

Takumi is a genius designer who has his own company. He has multiple lovers, but never lets them get close to them. Rather, he often treats them badly in order to keep them at distance. However, he seems to be hiding something.
Shirasu Jin gave a nice performance and he had chemistry with his partner.

The drama was fast paced and did well with the flashbacks.
