Korean Drama My Happy Ending is a nerve-wracking thriller
Story
Jae Won seems to be living the perfect life: CEO of her own furniture company, mother of an adorable girl, wife of a considerate husband, friends with a supportive girlfriend, and daughter of a sweet father. However, her life starts going from bad to worse when everything around her falls into pieces.
Korean Drama My Happy Ending is an intense melodrama.
The story really is set to destroy the main lead, as she is constantly being betrayed by everyone she trusts. Thus, the drama does a good job of being stressfully dramatic constantly.
In addition, the drama handled the psychological trauma of the lead and her illness with sensitivity and by caring for its main character, giving her a nice development.
Also, the series didn’t shy away from being too drastic regarding its twists.
On the other hand, the final episodes were lukewarm and it felt like the aftermath of a big explosion, with not much to add, other than a decent ending.
Characters
Jae Won is a successful CEO who cares about her firm. She loves her family and tries to be strong, while hiding her past and what she thinks are her weaknesses.
Jang Na Ra gave an intense performance.

The drama was fast paced and handled its twists nicely.

My overall rating for the Korean Drama My Happy Ending is 7 out of 10. The drama had interesting characters and twists.
