Korean Drama Big Mouth is full of twists
Story
Chang Ho is a lawyer who’s not known for his achievements. Rather, he is notorious for his nickname, Big Mouth, due to his nonstop talking. However, that name will get him into trouble, when he is mistaken for criminal mastermind Big Mouse, and sent to prison.
Korean Drama Big Mouth is a thriller with many twists.
It builds up the suspense masterfully, with nicely embedded flashbacks and cleverly spread clues.
However, the second half of the drama got tiring and draggy and wasn’t as good as the first part, with the twists being messy.
Characters
Chang Ho is a naive, friendly lawyer who lives a quiet life. But when he is sent to prison he will have to be more than just a lovely family guy.
Lee Jong Suk gave an intense performance.
Watch Lee Jung Sook’s other dramas KDrama School 2013 (The School Series), K Drama Romance is a bonus book, K Drama The Hymn to Death, and KDrama W (2016)
Mi Ho is Chang Ho’s wife. She is a nurse who is carrying and she will do anything to help Chang Ho.
Im Yoon Ah was delightful as always.
Cinematography
The drama had a fast pace and interesting cinematography with black and white sequences for the flashbacks.
Overall
My overall rating for the Korean Drama Big Mouth is 7 out of 10. There were a lot of twists, but it got tiring after a while.
