Korean Drama The Killer’s Shopping List blends smoothly comedy with mystery
Story
Dae Sung decides to work at his mother’s marketplace after failing to follow his own career. But when a series of murders start taking place with a connection to their store, Dae Sung feels that he has to solve the crime.
Korean Drama The Killer’s Shopping List is a drama that combines comedy, family dynamics, and crime.
The story is heartwarming when it came to the family bonds not only between family members, but also between the employees of the store.
In addition, the crime was well constructed and it was hard to pinpoint the culprit. That said, it had a smooth pace and it had also an intense ending.
However, there were a lot of times when the drama was boring and slow. That is mainly because the drama didn’t handle well the breathers between the investigation scenes.
Characters
Dae Song failed to become a civil servant and he resulted into going back to work for his mother. He has a great memory, but he is too aloof and he is friendly with everyone, so he fails to convince those around him to take him seriously.
Lee Kwang Soo was delightful and handled his role nicely, without overdoing it with the comedy aspect of it.
