Story

Yeo Reum had enough of her stressful and demeaning work and miserable life. So, she gives everything up and moves to a small village on the coast, where she is opting to relax and do nothing in order to recharge.

Korean Drama Summer Strike is a slice of life drama with a darker side.

The drama starts of with feel-good vibes, liberating the main lead of her asphyxiating city life, and following her to discover the joys of living simply and quetly.

And then, the drama takes a darker turn, as it slowly introduced specs of a murder mystery that climaxes in the final episodes.

The drama, in addition, does a great job of introducing the characters, giving them smooth character development, and establishing their relationship.

However, there were moments, especially after the first half, when the drama got predictable and boring.

Nevertheless, the vibes were there.
