Story

Mi Ri is a University freshman who has problems adapting to her new school life. She is struggling to make friends, let alone dating. But, when Mi Ri starts working part-time at a cafe, she falls in love with one of the regulars. But, in order to win his heart, she asks her classmate’s, Dae Kang, help. DaeKang is one of the popular students due to his looks, but he is considered cold and unapproachable. Things get more complicated, however, when Mi Ri’s best friend turns out to be her crush’s girlfriend.

The drama follows a light, funny story and its length makes it perfect for a summer drama. The story was sweet, as well as the romance, that was overall cute and had some innocent first love vibes. The characters and the misunderstandings make it even more entertaining, as they spiced up the drama. However, the ending was kind of unsatisfying. And there were some cliche parts in the story. But, all in all, it was an enjoyable drama.

Characters

Mi Ri is a shy girl, who is good-natured and innocent when it comes to human relationships and love. She especially loves her best friend, who is the only one with whom she can be honest with. Kim Ji In was really cute in this drama and she had chemistry with both leads.

Dae Kang is a popular student who appears cold and unsociable to others. However, he is very sweet, warm and friendly. Na Jaemin’s first role was surprisingly well-executed.

Cinematography

The drama had an interesting timeline, with a back and forth concept. However, the ending was cut short.

Overall

My overall rating for this drama is 7 out of 10. For a web drama it was well-paced and the story was adorable.
