While Ha Neul worries about how everyone treats Jung Woo, he is preparing to propose to her and get their relationship to take the next step. He even buys a whole set of jewelry, but he can’t find the right moment. On the other hand, Ha Neul prompts Dae Young to talk to Jung Woo and apologize for not being there for him, and the latter does, bridging any gap between them.
And, with Ha Neul’s full support, Jung Woo finally makes the big decision to perform the innovative surgery on a young patient that he has been supporting. The surgery is successful and Jung Woo seems to have overcome his trauma.
At home, Ha Neul and Jung Woo spend some time together, with Ha Neul discovering the boxes of jewelry, which forces Jung Woo to finally propose to her. But, before she answers, her phone rings, but Jung Woo asks her to lie to them and stay with him instead.
Later on, Ha Neul receives an offer to study abroad for six months, and while she can’t decide what to do, Jung Woo encourages her to grab the opportunity, even though they will miss each other. However, eventually, the plan is canceled, and Ha Neul is struggling to break it out to Jung Woo and her family, who throw a fair well party for her. However, Jung Woo sees a text message that confirms the cancellation and understands his girlfriend’s conundrum, so he throws a tantrum, pretending to be upset and asking Ha Neul to stay, in order to make it look like he was the reason that she won’t go abroad after all.
Still, Ha Neul sees through his act and thanks him, reassuring him that, this time around, she didn’t blame herself, instead, she asked her boss to give her a proper explanation as to why they revoked their offer. She is now stronger and more sure about herself.
Meanwhile, Hong Ran and Dae Young overcome their own fears and finally confess their feelings for each other. They start hanging out with their kids and seem to have become one big happy family.
As for Ba Da, he discovers his passion for cooking and he decides to take up the family restaurant after he presents his family with a dish that he has cooked all by himself. His new confidence and life change, make his mother proud, as she finally feels that she has fulfilled her promise to her late husband to raise their children well. Tae Seon, on the other hand, meets his first love again and they start on afresh.
Finally, Ha Neul and Jung Woo have a second trip to the seaside, but this time, they watch the sun rising. Then Jung Woo asks Ha Neul for a proper answer to his proposal, though they are about to have their wedding photos taken in a week. And she answers him yes, though she feels embarrassed and runs away, with Jung Woo chasing her playfully along the sour.
Overall, the drama was heartwarming and sweet, though the last episodes were fillers.
