Story

Yeon Hwa, a hard-working young woman, becomes the stepsister of Yu Ra, a spoiled rich woman, who hates her. Their relationship becomes even more complicated when Yu Ra discovers that the love of her life, Yun Jae, is Yeon Hwa’s boyfriend. Thus, Yu Ra stops at nothing and destroys Yeon Hwa’s life. Years later, Yeon Hwa is back to reveal the truth and take revenge.

Korean Drama Yellow Boots is a makjang about revenge.

The drama is well-paced, though the first few episodes were rather boring and awkward, as the drama didn’t introduce the characters smoothly.

However, the drama got more enjoyable when the story settled in and things started moving forward.

Also, the revenge part was rather satisfying, took up most of the second part of the drama, and it was slow and entertaining, without getting over the top.

Unfortunately, the final episodes were chopped down and badly handled.
