Korean Drama Race is an office melodrama
Story
Yoon Jo is a woman with no academic background but full of new ideas and work experience. However, after she is hired in a new company, she discovers that everyone is looking down on her and she has to establish herself in the office.
Korean Drama Race is an office drama with many political intrigues.
The drama starts out slowly, with the presentation of the characters, especially the main one whose story is starting to unfold.
However, even though the office politics were enjoyable to follow and had many twists, the romance inserted into the story was boring and dated and shifted the focus from the female lead’s struggles at work to her stumbling with the attention of her two colleagues.
The drama, overall, was boring and didn’t handle the twists well, turning the whole thing into a cheesy story.
Characters
Yoon Jo is a marketing expert who is enthusiastic and a hard worker. She is trying hard to prove herself at her new work.

Hong Jong Hyun had a boring character.

Cinematography
The pace of the drama is messy.
Overall
My overall rating for the Korean Drama Race is 3 out of 10. The drama is boring and the romance isn’t necessary.
