Samuel calls Min Soo, while he’s alone at the hospital. Min Soo is his married neighbor with whom they spent time over the last year, cleaning up their houses and sharing secrets, even though there is clearly some sexual tension between them. However, after an incident when Min Soo’s husband came back from work early and she had to drag him to have him sleep to help Samuel leave the apparent unseen, Samuel decided to stop their arrangement.

However, after his admission to the hospital, they meet again, and Samuel has to lie to his wife about his whereabouts. Unfortunately, Woo Jin goes to his hospital room and discovers his lie.

Woo Jin is hurt by this because she has been cheated on by her ex-boyfriends. But she trusted her husband as they had an agreement to always tell each other when their feelings have changed. And so, from there on, she follows him around, taking pictures, while she drives her new and expensive car.

She also uses the surveillance camera she has installed after someone wrote a threatening message on her door, and she sees her husband moving in and out of their house. Thus, she discovers Samuel going into Min Soo’s apartment. Angry, she splashes gasoline all over the hallway to set them afire, but she changes her mind, cleans up after herself, and proceeds to write a threatening message to Min Soo, asking her to give her money or she will rant her out to her husband.

Turns out, even though Woo Jin and Samuel started off as a very loving couple, the lack of intimacy after their wedding, with Samuel unable to perform, and Woo Jin getting frustrated after a year of him not being interested in her.

Thus, she accidentally called her ex-boyfriend, after a huge fight with Samuel, and went to his apartment, where they slept together, with Woo Jin coming out of his house only to find Samuel waiting for her. She told him that nothing happened, but, apparently, he knew that she lied, as, when Woo Jin receives the money from Min Soo, and she tells her husband about her new case and how she now knows everything about him and their neighbor, he bursts out telling her that she has no right to accuse him of anything.

From his point of view, he isn’t cheating as he only had feelings for Min Soo, without acting on them. For Woo Jin, who feels sorry for her one-night stand and apologizes for it, her one slip-up that meant nothing isn’t as bad as her husband loving another woman.

They have a huge fight, blaming each other for their actions and insulting each other, which results in Samuel getting the backpack to return the money to Min Soo, and Woo Jin chasing after him, claiming that it’s her money. They have a car chasing run, and Woo Jin, cornering Samuel, takes the money and throws it in the street, with strangers picking them up, as the couple stare at each other.

Seven months later, their divorce is finalized.

Woo Jin still works at the hotel and now lives in a studio, while Samuel has taken up a job at his family’s strawberry farm and stays in his car. The couple finally meet after a long time when they sell their apartment and Woo Jin tells Samuel over lunch that she is sorry for everything and thanks him for the years they spend together, telling him that he should live happily from now on, just as she is planning to do.

During Christmas, Woo Jin is telling everyone that she has plans for the night, while she stays alone at her place. That is when Samuel shows up, bringing her strawberries. He asks her if she has a boyfriend, and she admits that she is still single. And when their hands touch accidentally, while they are having a drink, they start kissing, with Woo Jin pausing to say that they are divorced and Samuel responding that they can still have sex nevertheless.

Overall, the ending was the best part of the drama. It was more meaningful when it came to the characters and their story, while the rest was, at times, over the top, with the scenes of violence, and even with the explicit scenes that offered nothing to the plot.
